I got engaged! David proposed at Piccolo on an unassuming MLK Monday and I was entirely surprised. The entire restaurant knew and I ate my whole tasting menu without knowing until the ring came delivered in a fake panna cotta dessert jar. The experience was absolutely amazing and David planned it to the tee. The first dish was the Chicken Liver Mousse Amuse– absolutely amazing, great job Patrick!
Engaged! The ring was in a fake Buttermilk panna cotta with yuzu glee, hazelnuts, honeycrisp apple and cornmeal cookies, $8. I was too excited to take any more pictures but we also ate the delicious Chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream, olive oil and kumquats, $9.
